pidgin is an all in one messenger which has all the chat clients: yahoo, gtalk, MSN , AOL, ICQ, IRC, jabber, etc. so, u need not worry about slowing ur computer down with multiple messengers running in different windows. In pidgin, they are all under the same roof.
