This is one of the most wonderful desktop utilities i have ever come across. If you have a headache with your desktop mess, then fences is the right choice for you. Users having large number of icons on their desktop will find Fences very useful. Its highly customisable and provides all the controls to the user to change and modify his desktop the way he wants. Even more, you can drag and drop any of the icons into any category or "fence". Just try it and you will go WOW(Microsoft promised the wow factor with vista,but trust me,Fences is not developed by microsoft ;)).
